 “We were trained by SDCP on all aspects of  dairy farming as a business including breeding, dairy housing structures, dairy health, dairy feeding as these are the key factors influencing dairy competitiveness of dairy production. I was also among farmers taken to the Dairy Training Institute (DTI) in Naivasha by SDCP where we were further trained on dairy production, hygienic milk handling and value addition,” 

 “Through SDCP support my first batch of cows were registered as the foundation category, I served them through Artificial Insemination (AI) and got intermediate offspring which in turn gave forth appendix heifers. By next year I will have pedigree animals which are the highest producers and have good market value,”

“We were shocked upon hearing about the millions of shillings harvested by small scale livestock farmers on small portions of land in Nyeri County,”

“My elder children never went beyond class eight due to lack of funds, but with our last born daughter currently in Form two, we are a happy family,”
